Manager, Legal & Secretarial

  • Providing prompt, concise, accurate and commercially practical legal advice to the business units in corporate finance, capital market, private equity, investment funds, merger and acquisitions

  • Liaising with internal clients and external parties such as the relevant authorities, service providers and other third parties on legal matters

  • Managing and administering the operations of the Legal and Secretarial Department effective and efficiently

  • Assisting the management in complying with the requirements of the Companies Act and its guidelines

  • Assisting in drafting, preparing and/or reviewing notice, agenda, resolutions, minutes of meeting of the Board and its committee of the Company and its subsidiary companies


  • Degree in Law or its equivalent 

  • 5 years  working experience  in compliance, legal, audit and / or risk management in the capital market and / or financial services industry

  • Sound knowledge on the corporate laws, the capital market and financial services and its laws, rules and regulations

  • Strong analytical, meticulous, organized and detail-oriented

  • Self-driven and inquisitive

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to work independently, priorities and multitasking

  • Good written and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
